Job Network

Using ezySkillz allows me to provide an extended helping hand to my clients. It allows them to learn new skills in an interactive and easy to use environment. It certainly makes my job as a consultant much easier while providing essential tools for my clients.

As a Job Network organisation, ezySkillz is able to manage Intensive Support Job Search Training (ISJST).  The program has been designed to manage administration requirements and calculations of time Jobseeker has taken in completing each module and total of training.  At completion the Jobseeker is required to provide evidence of how the remainder of 100 hours has been utilised, such as copies of applications, organisations contacted.  This information is then recorded in the final assessment and the Jobseeker is required to sign the assessment form to confirm participation.

The program has been designed to assess level of literacy and identify if further training is required.  Following on from literacy assessment modules have been designed to motivate Jobseekers and increase their confidence.  As the Jobseeker completes each module they gain an understanding of their strengths and skills and how to quantify their competence.  From information added by the Jobseeker, the program populates a business action plan, professional resumes and application letter, all of which can be updated continuously at anytime in the future.

ezySkillz provides the Jobseeker with an understanding of their barriers and what steps need to be taken to overcome their personal barriers.

ezySkillz also provides the Jobseeker with an understanding that once they have gained employment, they will be provided with Post Placement Support.  With this the Jobseeker advises on the type of support they require, any concerns they have and how they prefer to remain in contact.

By using ezySkillz as a tool in delivering ISJST the Consultant is able to be utilised in other areas of business operations, such as Job Placement, managing Job Club for both Intensive Support Contacts and Intensive Support Customised Assistance Jobseekers, Reverse Marketing of Jobseekers or Post Placement Support.  By allowing the Consultant to focus on placing Jobseekers into employment and working in the area that they are most passionate, instead of being bogged down in administration, you will have happier and more effective staff.

Organisations

Since commencing we have realised that the potential for businesses other than Job Network is much greater.  For instance, many companies experience high, unexpected growth within a short period of time.  It is often the case that this growth impacts on understanding the values of current staff members, therefore not identifying the future potential of loyal and quality staff for promotions within the organisation.  By utilising ezySkillz for all staff, management will be aware of strengths, skills, capabilities, goals and expectations of each staff member.

Once the staff member has completed the ezySkillz program, management will have access to up-to-date information regarding each staff members potential.  Staff members are able to modify their information continuously so that their personal profile is current, i.e. training completed.

EzySkillz not only provides an understanding of the techniques involved in applying for employment, but it develops a business plan unique to the individual, highlighting the clients strengths, weaknesses, provides an understanding of where they should look for opportunities and identifies threats and advises on how to eliminate their threats.  As part of the business plan the client is made aware of how effective communication is of importance within the business environment and what form of communication works best for them.  The reason for this is that for business to be successful, it is essential that all staff act as ambassadors for the organisation, in and out of work.  Within office hours all staff members represent your organisation, especially anyone answering the phone.  Bad communication results in missed business.  EzySkillz provides information on good telephone communication.

Tenders

When submitting tenders to win contracts, often you are required to provide evidence of the quality of staff that is going to participate in delivering the contract.  EzySkillz is a user-friendly program that automatically manages this for you through the responses entered by the client.  Your organisation will then have access to staff profiles, including business plan and resume.

Department of Education

When students are contemplating finishing their schooling to join the workforce, they are in need of a professional resume and an understanding of what is involved in applying for employment.  It is essential that they are aware of the strengths and skills so that they are in a better position to promote themselves to potential employers.  EzySkillz manages the entire process, including assessing their vocational career preferences, designing a professional resume that can be continually updated, designing application letters and provides a business action plan unique to the individual.
